 IronheadThis band is the newest best kept secret in Hampton Roads. Formerly known as The Runarounds, this sound promises to be harder and heavier. Recently transplanted from North Carolina, they're here and hitting Hampton Roads with some kick ass rock! Relentless pounding by Mark Metal on the skins, sex kitten Angela Foxx lays down a mean bass line and lead guitarist/frontman Johnny Sonic makes his Gibson axe cry at night after tearing it up on stage. Rock Iron Puppets They're in the studio to working on their second cd. We recently got a sneak preview of what to expect, and it's gonna ROCK! In the meantime, their debut cd "Marionette" is professionally produced, proving that these guys want to give you their best and are serious about making the big time. Control Council They've been called "The Deadliest Band Alive!" We're convinced we're going to at least suffer from whiplash from listening to these guys. Agony Creeps Well established Metal Rockers from the Penninsula. It's hard, it's loud, and it rocks! And you must know because you voted them Best Local Band on FM99's Rock Awards!!! They're working on a new CD, but still finding time to play out, so get the hell out there and rock! You can hear a couple of their songs right here on Tidewater Rocks Internet radio. Sea of Souls A favorite of FM99 WNOR Active Rock listeners. Their 5th release, "Flowers and Landmines" features "Gone", the best by the guys so far. The Moaning Lisas According to their T-shirts, they're a "comedy, alternative-country, psycho-billy, rock-n-roll band baby!" Who am I to argue? And they have Jaegermeister backing them? Must be why they look so happy on stage. Check these guys out.

The Bottle Babies! The Bottle Babies!! Looks like they prefer draft, but who's to argue? Self described as having a "punk twang", you'll have as much fun as they do. Go check 'em out!

BeyondIn 1999, Carlos Del Castillo and Anthony Bueno formed BEYOND. Drawing on heavy dance beats and the Latin flavor as the backbone, they established what would be their signature sound. On June 14, 2003 the band celebrated its second CD release party at the NorVa in Norfolk Virginia to a crowd of over 1,000 fans.

Welcome To Lucky Town!Adult Contemporary rockers heard on 94.9 The Point have been touring the East Coast promoting their 3rd cd. Well crafted songs, great harmonies and the stage presence of vocalist Courtney Criswell make this band a regional favorite.

Scarz Within

Solid rockers who are adjusting to personnel changes. They recently released a new cd, and their website is back up and running. As soon as I hear from them, you'll hear them here!

The Outer Loop Our newest addition, The Outer Loop is as unique as their name. We haven't had a chance to see 'em live yet, but the track we heard, "If You Must Know," kinda reminds us of being in Haight-Ashbury in the '60's.
